• Born into Christian family, whose late uncle, Alagba Adeyemo Brought Christianity into Ola. Father, late Chief Daniel Adewole Faniran was the first convert and at one time Secretary of the only (now First) Baptist Church Mother Madam Deborah Efunkemi Faniran, convert by marriage was a dancer – evangelist and a leader of the children church.
• Baptized into membership of Baptist (now First) Church Ola in 1952, by late Rev. D.O. Idowu.
