History was made on Tuesday 10th January 2017 when NBTS and SEM, both based in Ogbomoso covenanted to assist each other by working together institutionally and by promoting holistic Christian ministries, through, among others:
being fully conscious of the fact that collaboration between the two bodies will enhance their vision and mission through links which the founders envisaged and encouraged all along
It was signed on behalf of their organizations by Emeritus Prof. Adetoye Faniran (SEM Executive Secretary) and Rev. Prof. Ezekiel Emiola Nihinlola (NBTS President), in the presence of representatives of the two organizations.

- Promoting exchange of academic information and publication;
- Encouraging faculty members and staff to engage in collaborative teaching, supervision, and research;
- Partnering in organizing training programmes, seminars, conferences, workshops, etc., on issues pertaining to divinely inspired and prescribed approaches to sustainable human and environmental development.
- Co-operating in other related activities considered of interest to our Mission.
